My Holiday Candle gift guide
One of my favorite things about the holiday season is the smells. Pumpkin Pie, cinnamon pine cones, cookies baking, and the warmth that comes with this season. Having a beautiful, holiday candle lit on the coffee table just brings the room together.
There are a lot of things I love about candles. But last year, I discovered that there are a lot of BAD things they put in most candles.
There are so many toxins in paraffin wax (the most commonly used candle wax) and artificial fragrances.
That is when I decided to start my own line of healthy, toxin free candles.
What better gift for the holiday season?
Holiday Candle Gift Guide
Pumpkin Pie Spices
Pumpkin Pie spice is one of my favorite seasonal scents!
This Pumpkin Pie Spices candle is sure to be a hit with its warmth, and reminiscence of baking for the holidays.
Tis’ the Season
The best seller, ‘Tis the Season smells like a craft store at Christmas time.
This is the candle I have made the most of for our own use at home because it just smells like Christmas. The woodsy scent from the clove mixed with the warmth of the vanilla is sure to make you feel merry and bright.
Probably the most popular holiday candle, this candy cane inspired candle has a fresh, peppermint aroma mixed with a sweet almond scent. So yummy!
Hot Cocoa anyone?
Cinnamon Cocoa has a beautiful creamy aroma, reminiscent of fresh hot cocoa. The Cinnamon Cassia oil mixed with chocolate oil brings a sweetness to any room. This one also mixed well with the beeswax to put off a slight, honey scent.
We Three Kings
The lightest scent for those with the most sensitive nose. We Three Kings is a lovely tribute to the gifts brought for baby Jesus by the wise men for His birthday. Made with Frankincense & Myrrh essential oils, this holiday candle is light and sweet.
Why Beeswax instead of Soy or Paraffin?
I like using Beeswax to make all of our candles because it actually helps to clean and purify the air as it burns. With soy candles, it is not bad for you to breathe in as long as it is pure. There are quite a few top notch healthy brands that do use soy. Paraffin wax is the most commonly used candle wax because its cheap, but VERY toxic.
High quality ingredients
Using beeswax instead of either of these other options was an easy choice for me. Not only does beeswax burn slowly, making the candles last longer, but puts off negative ions that are good for cleansing the air of toxins.
I also use hemp + beeswax wicks in all my candles because they burn slow, are healthier to breathe than cotton, and put off a TON of light.
Essential oils are how I scent my candles.
I use essential oils and natural scents instead of artificial scents because they are non-toxic to breathe, and wont give you a headache. I have had people say that after switching from some of the more popular candle and wax melt brands to mine, they don’t get headaches from the smell. That is huge!
