35 Weeks and still doing well
It has been a while since I updated you guys on how Squishbean and I are doing. 7 weeks to be exact. But now we are here at our 35 weeks pregnancy update! This will also probably be the last pregnancy update that I do before baby is born.
How are we doing? We are both healthy and happy.
We are in the third trimester! Actually, we are at the end of the third trimester, which means we are getting real close to meeting our little one. Ashton and I are SO excited, nervous, happy, and hustling to get as much done as we can.
35 Weeks pregnancy Baby Facts:
Squish-Bean is now the size of a honeydew melon or pineapple, and is about 18 inches long, and between 5 and 6 lbs.
What does Squish-Bean like?

- Wiggling around
What does Squish-Bean NOT like?
- Being pushed on too much, by myself, Ashton or Sakura.
- Tomato sauce

How is Mama?
Ready to have this baby!
My feet are super swollen, and I have been wearing Ashton’s shoes this week because mine no longer fit. Before you ask, no, I don’t have preeclampsia, and no, I don’t have gestational diabetes. My blood pressure is statically fine, and my sugar levels are normal.
I have been tired enough to need a nap everyday, and am hungry ALL the time! The baby is definitely growing a lot and they constantly want food. Which is okay, they need it.
Sleep is non-existent at this point as well. I have a mountain of pillows I sleep on, but any position is only comfortable for a few hours.

Baby bump photo!
This is my 35 week bump! Most of my shirts don’t fit over my belly anymore, but that is the great thing about maternity jeans with the stretchy, belly band thing.

What’s new this week?
Getting ready for our baby shower, maternity photos and home visit! That is all happening next weekend, so we have a lot of prepping (mentally and physically) to do.
We have a lot of baby stuff, which is nice! But after the baby shower we will know what we still need to buy, and how much work we have left to do before Squishbean arrives.
Our home visit being next weekend means we are getting close to delivery day. There will be a lot to go over, and the midwives will get to see the space we have to work with on the day of. After that, our midwife visits will be weekly till baby comes.
How is prep going?
We are going to be meal prepping sometime soon, and stocking up on ready to cook meals, as well as disposable plates and cutlery. The least amount of cooking and cleaning we have to do after baby gets here, the better!
Last touches to baby room will happen after the baby shower, and I start my maternity leave on the 19th of October, so I will be in super nesting mode then. I have already been constantly cleaning and thinking about cleaning, so maybe nesting is already here?
Again, thank you to everyone who is helping Ashton and I prepare for little ones arrival!
We love and appreciate you all so much.
