These are my favorite healthy lifestyle habits to maintain physical health, and a healthy mind!
I do my best to do these everyday because I know I will feel so much better if I do.

Waking up Early
Wake up early, if even just by one hour.
We usually get up at 6am, but my happy place is anywhere from 5am-6am.
Getting up early allows you to squeeze in a workout or meditation, read the Bible, journal, or just plan your day.
Getting up earlier can also help with your bodies natural circadian rhythm, allowing you to get better sleep at night.
Stay Hydrated
Electrolytes are your friend!
Did you know that just drinking water, even if its a gallon a day, won’t keep you hydrated?
Our filtered water is lacking the minerals we need to stay hydrated and healthy, and so we need to get those from other sources.
Electrolyte blends can be added to water, and can be used for hydration as well as pre or post workouts!
My current favorite brand is XTEND, and you can get it at the Vitamin Shoppe or Amazon.
Bringing Healthy snacks with you
To keep from buying junk while out and about, bring healthy snacks with you!
My favorite healthy snacks to bring along on outings are:
Kombucha, Lara Bars, Quest Bars, apples, dried fruit and nuts, yogurt covered pretzels or dark chocolate.
Working out 4 times a week
Working out is the best way for me to stay positive and happy.
When I go more than a week without intentional exercise, I honestly start to get depressed.
Our bodies are made for movement! Your muscles want to be used.
Plus, the endorphin rush will help you feel happier throughout the day.
Find Healthy alternatives to Soda
If you drink soda, this should be the year you quit.
I’m not saying that to be mean, but because soda is so horribly bad for you.
It’s loaded with sugars your body doesn’t need, and diet soda is even worse because of the toxic aspartame they use as a sweetener.
Sparkling Ice flavored water is my favorite alternative, as well as soda flavored Kombucha by LIVE Kombucha.

Take time to relieve stress
Activity and supplementation is what I swear by for stress relief.
Relieving stress is one of the most important healthy lifestyle habits you could adopt.
LifeSeasons makes an amazing supplement to help with stress called Anxie-T.
It has actually had a significant impact on how well my husband sleeps at night, and has decreased his stress during the day!
Whenever I am stressed, I meditate or do yoga.
The flow of doing yoga helps relax my mind, and gets my blood flowing at the same time.
Put down your phone
A bad habit that most of us, if not all of us, have is scrolling on our phones.
Bored? We pick up our phones.
Watching TV, but not engaged? We pick up our phones.
Stop the scroll, and find something engaging to do!
Read a book, play a board game, go for a walk, clean your home. Find something that will get your body moving, or strengthen your mind instead.
