We all have set habits that make up how productive we are each day. Having a good set of healthy habits can make such a difference in how productive we are. Here are 7 healthy habits that make you more productive when you apply them to your life everyday.
Cleaning your home
If you live in a mess, you are going to feel like a mess.
Cleaning your home can make you feel and actually become more productive. Getting things clean in your home can help free up some brain space, and make it easier to think.
When your space is clean, you can start to think more clearly, and that will help you become a more productive individual.
Brushing your teeth
This is the first thing I do everyday.
Brushing your teeth is something that is not only good hygiene, but can give you a fresh, clean feeling that starts the day off right.
Making this the first thing you do can help you establish a routine, and is definitely one of the habits that make you more productive in life over time.

Putting on “real” clothes
By “real” clothes, I mean no sweatpants or yoga gear.
Putting on clothing that you would wear to work or to go grocery shopping makes you feel more productive, and gets you in the mindset to do things.
Even if you are a stay at home parent, or have a non-traditional job where you don’t have to wear jeans, putting on some denim and a nice shirt will make you feel ready to get stuff done.

Sticking to the things on your calendar
If you have plans for this week, try to keep them.
Making excuses and cancelling plans we have set with others is something that makes us less productive, and can also make us feel lazy.
Laziness is the bane of productivity.
Unless you are sick or some emergency comes up, do your best to have integrity with your plans. Do what you say you will. That is one of the first steps to being a more productive individual.
Prioritizing your financials
Having our money ducks in a row is important, and not only that, it keeps us sane.
No one wants to worry about where their next meal is coming from, or if there is enough money set aside for rent.
While this doesn’t seem like something that would propagate productivity, creating a habit of staying on top of your financials will bring you peace of mind so you can worry about other things.
Creating healthy habits that make you more productive will make you feel healthier, think better, and sleep easier.

Exercise
This is a no brainer, and you probably saw it coming a mile away.
Exercise is the beat all solution to productivity.
When you exercise you create endorphins in your brain. These hormones make you feel happy, energized and ready to take on more challenges. When you make exercise a habit, you can become a happier person, and have more motivation in life.
Starting a daily exercise routine is one of the habits that make you more productive, and will give you the motivation you need to start getting things done in your life.

Conversation
Lastly, conversation.
I am a blogger, so I know what it feels like to not hear yourself talk all day.
There are some days where Ashton is at work that I don’t talk to anyone all day until he gets home. If your are a stay at home parent, work from your computer or phone, or sometimes even an office, you know how important good conversation is.
Having a good long talk with your partner, or going to coffee with a friend can be very therapeutic. It can even make you feel like you’ve accomplished something for the day.
Shutting yourself in and not speaking to others in person can make you feel so drained. This is a bad habit, and is really not good for you in the long run.
Checking boxes off on your “to do” list can make you feel more productive, leading you to start more habits that make you more productive over time.
